Amistad Canada happily participated again this year in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race. Our participating partners this year were EEESMA, Feed the Hungry, La Catalina Foundation, and Patronato Pro Ninos. Congratulations to all of our participants! Together we raised a grand total of $17,783.00 Canadian dollars.
This year we had the pleasure of partnering with a new sponsor: Vinedos de San Francisco, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Vinedos de San Francisco generously provided their beautiful vineyard and coordinated the event with a lot of extra help from Amistad Canada Media Manager Dani Briones and promotion from Patronatos Pro Niños. We can’t thank them enough. More than 50 people walked and ran on behalf of Patronatos Pro Ninos and Feed the Hungry on Sunday, October 31. It was a beautiful day for families and friends to safely come together and raise funds.
